Clump of Peonies |
This is a large clump of peonies. Peonies should only be dug up and divided in the fall after the growing season is over. Using a shovel or spade, dig around outside edges of clump. Go deep enough to perserve the roots - about 12 inches. Work around the clump prying and loosening as you go. Pick up and shake to loosen the surrounding soil. |
