Membership

Please join a fellowship of gardeners that enjoys a love of Peonies. We favor both tree and herbaceous Peonies, and the hundreds of old-fashioned varieties, as well as the newer ones. We have never met a color we didn't like - and Peonies come in dozens of hues and patterns of red, corals, pinks, whites and yellows. The even have delicious names.

Our goal is to educate and appreciate this "queen of flowers" that has been treasured for thousands of years for its beauty, its medical and magical powers - and which was once thought so special that it was reserved only for royalty and the privileged few.

Membership entitles you to:

1. Attend our quarterly meetings (informal, often including a pot luck supper, and at times a nearby garden).
2. Receive the quarterly newsletter.
3. Receive advance notices of each meeting and their minutes thereafter.
4. Receive help in finding places to buy particularly interesting Peonies, help in how to transplant, grow and divide them, and save seed that will germinate.
5. Participate and vote in the annual meeting and election of officers.
6. Receive an annual membership card.
7. Membership year runs from January 1 - December 31
