Tips use 'Refresh' frequently: Refresh causes the browser to ask the BAIRNET Web Server for a fresh copy of the current page. If you do not refresh the display your computer may be showing an older copy which it kept (to save time). moving forward and back: Return to the previous page by clicking Back arrow on the toolbar above (or by pressing ALT-leftarrow). The Forward arrow on the toolbar (or press ALT-rightarrow) advances a page just backed out of. save bookmarks: Your browser lets you save shortcuts to favorite pages. make window larger: If things look too big on your browser or you can't see enough of a page at one time: 1. Maximize your browser window (ALT-SHIFT, X) to make it full screen. 2. Hide toolbar and status bar using the View menu above (if you hide the toolbar press ALT-leftarrow or ALT-rightarrow to move forward and back). 3. Change the resolution on your Windows 95 display using the control panel to 800x600 or 1024x768 (get some experienced help on this if you aren't sure what that means). copying information: Information provided by BAIRNET Web may be copied for private, non-commercial use provided that any original copyright citations are included and preserved.
