Report of Cheerio

Cheerio is a loose-knit informal organization made up of couples and single people who enjoy monthly pot-luck suppers and interesting programs. There are no dues (we pass the hat for our modest needs) and we have no obligations except social. Different people act as hosts and hostesses for each meeting and provide dessert. During the past year we have been more informal than in previous years in that no vice-president was chosen to arrange programs. Individuals in the group volunteered to arrange for one program during the year. The system worked very well as evidenced by the following tabulation. All are welcome! Just show up at 6:15 on the second Monday of each month, October through May, with a casserole, salad or other contribution to the pot-luck along with your own place setting. We meet with the Methodist Homemakers twice during the year. Details of each meeting can be found in the Weekly Bulletin and in the Wind.

February: Kelli Locke - AFS year in the Netherlands.
March: Dr. Fister - Trip through the Holy Land.
