Pictures of the Week

In Maine, when maple trees start sprouting plastic jugs and metal buckets, we know spring has arrived.  When it's 40 degrees during the day and 20 degrees at night, sap begins to flow.  Many Mainers collect the sweet sap in buckets and boil it down to syrup. There is no sweeter way to welcome spring.
