Officer Chris Stevens Officer Christopher Stevens began his law enforcement career in 1978 as a military police officer in Washington, D.C. From 1982 to 1988 his worked for the Bar Harbor, Maine police department and attained the rank of Lieutenant. Officer Stevens has been a member of the Bangor Police Department since 1988 and has been a D.A.R.E. officer since 1990. Officer Stevens has been a child abuse investigator and member of the Bangor Police Department's Special Response Team.
Officer Dan Frazell Officer Daniel L. Frazell has been a police officer for the Bangor Police Department since March 17, 1986. Officer Frazell has been an instructor for D.A.R.E. since 1988, and has served as a member of the Maine D.A.R.E. Board of Directors from 1989 to 1996. Officer Frazell has been recognized for his work in D.A.R.E. by various Maine organizations including the Jaycees Outstanding Young Mainer of the Year in 1993, the State of Maine D.A.R.E. Officer of the Year in 1992, and received the Governors Award For Work In Alcohol and Drug Prevention in 1991. In August of 1996, Officer Frazell was elected to the National D.A.R.E. Board of Directors as First Vice-President, and will serve as the President of the National D.A.R.E. Association in 1998. |
