Schedule of events:
* 9 a.m. - The grand opening will incorporate a tribute to America's military veterans.
* The "War Birds," World War 11-vintage aircraft, will stage a fly over at BIA.
* George Parker will perform in his high-performance Marchetti.
* Maine Army National Guardsmen will repel from a hovering UH-60 Blackhawk flown by the
112th Medical Co. (Air Ambulance), Maine Army Guard.
* The Maine Army National Guard will stage a firefighting demonstration with a UH-1 Huey.
* "Speed For Hire" will perform a "Jet ATV" demonstration.
* A KC-135E Stratotanker flown by the Maine Air National Guard will make a demonstration
flight at the air show.
* "Speed For Hire" will perform a "Jet Truck" demonstration.
* Jim Parker, a daredevil acrobatic pilot from Warren, Vt., will fly his Salto glider,
releasing it from its tow plane at 4,000 feet altitude and gracefully performing aerobatic
maneuvers over the air show before staging a ground-level loop and landing at "center
stage."
* A B-IB Lancer flown by the Georgia Air National Guard will make a demonstration flight
at the air show.
* George Parker will perform in his high-performance Marchetti.
* As Parker completes his flight, he will race his Marchetti along the BIA runway in a
fiery competition with the "Jet Truck" operated by "Speed For Hire."
* The F-16 Falcon Demonstration Team from the 388th Fighter Wing at Hill Air Force Base,
Utah, will perform at the air show.
* Sean Tucker, the pilot for the 10-10-220 Power Aerobatic Team, will take off to perform
his high-powered and critically acclaimed ''Sky Dance."
* The U.S. Marine Corps' air crew assigned to fly the Blue Angels' TC-130 Hercules
affectionately known as "Fat Albert" by the "Blue and Gold" - will
stage a JATO demonstration at the air show. JATO stands for "jet-assisted
takeoff."
* The vaunted Blue Angels will perform their specialized acrobatic maneuvers.
* 5 p.m. - The "War Birds" will stage a departure salute to officially close the
air show.
* The air show schedule is subject to change without notice.
